Pre-order Ends September 3
Don’t miss out on this AEP head start – order your Enrollment Guides today! If you are licensed, appointed and certified for 2018, you are eligible to take part in the Enrollment Guide pre-order for Medicare Advantage (MA) and Prescription Drug Plans (PDP) that runs through September 3.
What You Need to Know
• Order your Enrollment Guides on the Sales Materials Portal via Jarvis.
• Pre-Order quantities are limited – please do not order more than a two-weeks supply of materials.
• Agent personalization of the back covers and enrollment request form will not be available during the pre-order period
• Orders placed during the pre-order period will be shipped to arrive on or before October 1, 2017
• Pre-orders accepted through September 3.
• Please continue to order your 2017 materials within the Sales Materials Portal, including AARP Medicare Supplement® Materials.
2018 Enrollment Guide Highlights
• Alternative Drug List. This contains most common drugs that receive formulary exception requests, plus covered alternative drugs.
• Abridged Drug List. Now, utilization management requirements are on the drug list. Because of this, MAPD Enrollment Guides will be moving from a comprehensive list of covered drugs to an abridged list of covered drugs.
• Highlights. Agents can download the 1557 privacy notice disclaimers from the Benefit Highlights document.
• Multi-language insert. This is replaced by the Civil Rights Notice and Required Information.
• Plan Recap. Now easier to fill out, with space to include a member’s doctors and prescription drugs.
• Enrollment Form. New questions regarding RRB and SSA are included in the “How do you want to pay” section.
• Updated Color coding. This year, the colors wrap around the entire guide so they are easy to identify.
Don’t forget! 2018 marketing materials will be released on the UnitedHealthcare Toolkit in September!
