Anico Background and history
American National Insurance Company (Anico) was founded in 1905 in Galveston TX. The founder’s grandson, James Edward Pozzi, now runs the business even though the stocks trade publicly. Anico has been in business for almost 100 years and were the people who insured Bonnie and Clyde. Bonnie claimed to be a waitress and Clyde claimed to be a truck driver. Throughout Anico’s existence, they have been very conservative financially. Anico does not take big risks and has no big losses. The founder believed in slow and steady growth. His vision of a large and stable company has come to fruition nearly 100 years later. Because of this slow and steady mindset, Anico has been consecutively A rated for the past 8 years. The New Anico Incentive
The new incentive plan is very simple. Only 9 paid ExpertApps with $9,000 combined premium sales are needed to receive the incentive. The incentive is a $600 Amazon gift card. To make this simpler, here is the plan in a linear format:

The Rules
The rules to the incentive are simple as well. There are only 6 rules that guide this specific incentive plan. The rules are easy to understand and straightforward.
- All life products are eligible.
- Eligible ExpertApp must have a date no earlier than 6/1/2019 and paid by 9/30/2019.
- All policies issued during the qualification period must remain enforced through 9/30/2019 in order to qualify.
- The writing agent must sell a minimum of 9 life policies through ExpertApp with a combined premium* of $9,000 or more. (*Paid annualized premium up to target)
- The contest is not available in New York.
- Writing agents only. Limit one per writing agent.
