Thursday, January 16th, 2020 Cigna Meeting at Empower Brokerage in Southlake Texas.
Empower Brokerage hosted yet another Lunch & Learn. This is advanced training for our agents that help shape their perspective on how to best sell a specific carrier product. Amy West, Cigna’s Vice President speaks about their Medicare Advantage products and has a reminder about OEP. During the event, Empower Brokerage had a few other speakers. James Codney, Cigna’s Vice President of Medicare Supplements spoke on Medicare products that Cigna offers which compliment the Medicare Supplements they offer. Jeff Hess, Empowers Individual Medical Product Specialist and under 65 coverage also spoke on GTL’s products that could complement some Medicare products that Cigna offers.
After Amy West’s and James Codney’s presentation Empower served lunch to the attendees. Jeff Hess finished up the day with his remarks on ACA and Marketplace coverage for under 65 Health Insurance.
Throughout our meeting agents also got the opportunity to meet with and speak to Empower Staff members, Including Rodney Culp, and Shannon Culp. Sherri Miller, Empowers Compliance Officer/Special Events & Project Manager was available to answer any compliance-related questions. As well as give some guidance to agents who were having some issues with either carriers or Compliance related issues.
